Four Christmases and a Happy New Year

Well we have been terribly busy since last I posted to our blog.  I last posted on our wedding anniversary of December 21st.  Since then we have shared Christmas with our three extended families.  Christmas Morning we shared with my mother and my sister's family.  We had a great time exchanging gifts and creating memories.

Then we shared Christmas with Kellie's Parents.  They have wonderful traditions like saying the Lord's Prayer around the Christmas Tree and having Meat pie with poached eggs on Christmas Morning.





Later we went back to my mother's house for a Prime Rib dinner and Gift Exchange.  We had a great time and the food was amazing.

A few days later Kellie's sister's family arrived from Oregon. We spent lots of time with them and Kellie's parents as we once again celebrated Christmas and exchanged gifts and shared many family meals.

Here I am playing cars, trucks and ScrewDrivers with Karin's son Jace.

  We showed them the sights of Las Vegas including the M&M store and lots of shopping.  We saw a really great street performer playing BumbleBee.  We took them to the Gift of Lights which is a christmas light display all the way around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Then we showed them the Bellagio fountains at night.

On New Years eve we went to the Las Vegas Strip to see the fireworks.  Jace was very tired and slept through the whole show.  I tried to capture it in panarama with my new phone.

From there Karin's Family and Kellie and I drove to LA to see Kellie and Karin's Dad and his wife Dorothy.  Where once again we shared Christmas Gifts and great food.

Here is Kellie's dad Mike with his grandson Jace sitting on the transmission of a Corvette Mike is restoring. 

While we were there Mike and I helped Karin's husband raise his trailer a few inches for clearance and had good male bonding time.



We had a football party for our Oregon Ducks who won the Fiesta Bowl with little difficulty!

Finally we all went home and jumped back into our usual routine.
